VIKING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM...
Our Viking Assistance Program was established in 2002 as a special committee to help our senior alumni. This program has grown over the years because of the dedication of two outstanding alumni who have co-chaired this program since the beginning … Louise Kellough Welker ’58 and Ruth Petty Roush ’57, they have made this program what it is today!
This important committee has assumed the responsibility of making telephone calls to home bound alumni, personal visits to our disabled and to those who are ill or in the hospital. They visit with alumni who are living in retirement communities as well as skilled care facilities. The committee sends thinking of you notes, birthday cards and sympathy cards to our alumni families. They also represent our association at memorial services and always sign the on-line guest book.

If you would like to volunteer to assist with this program … We Need Your Help! The pay is nada but the reward is a “smiling face and a thank you” … worth more than money can buy!
