Reunion News...

Check Here for News about your Graduating Class Reunion and who to contact for more information..

We invite groups who are working on Class Reunions to submit information about your project... We will post your information along with links to email your contact person(s).  If you have your own web page, we will be happy to also include a link to your web site for your classmates.

Consider this when planning your reunion: Some reunions are held whenever the former classmates can get together, so if you missed your "every fifth-year reunion" check into having one on an off-year.  The Annual Northeast Alumni Association Dinner-Dance has a  large ballroom each October and has been a wonderful place for smaller groups who can't muster enough for a large reunion of their class.  Keep checking this page for the date and location.  Also, consider joining in with other class years reunions, or inviting other classes to your reunion.  This is being done now and is a factor in having enough people to enjoy a larger crowd, nicer location, and lower prices.

Hello NE class of 69 classmates,
Another five years have passed and next year we will be celebrating our 40th class reunion. Can you believe it has been 40 years?
We have learned so much about what works and doesn't work for these reunions. We hope you have enjoyed our successes and we hope you forgive us our ideas that have not been successful.
This reunion date has not yet been set, but we have taken a look at what has worked in the past and have a game plan.
1.We are looking at the 3rd weekend of July or the 1st weekend of August 2009.
2.We feel that the Friday night gathering has been very successful and plan to repeat.
3.We will again try to keep the cost to a minimal so to include everyone interested in coming to the Saturday evening dinner/dance.
4.At the Saturday night dinner dance we think that people come to talk, reminisce and dance. We want to create an atmosphere conducive to that. We will have music playing for those dancers on a stereo/PA system. No DJ, no band. That way people interested in talking will enjoy that opportunity.
5. We have decided to not have the Sunday picnic.(attendance has been poor)
6. We will have a photograph done
7. We will try to communicate and send information via email (instead of the USPS) to save on postage.
8. We will have a memory book. Larry Mullikin has again graciously offered to do our printing of that memory book. The memory book has been very successful and we hope this year more people send us information to include. (even if they are unable to attend)

So what we need you to do is:
1. Send us your updated information and any fellow classmate you may have.
2. Put that date on your calendar, and please plan on coming.

I am amazed at the number of people we have lost and the older we get the fewer there will be of us.We grew up in a community, and in this day and age community is a thing of the past. People live next door to each other and rarely even see each other. Do not assume I have your correct info or anyone else', people change email addresses often.

We hope that you take the time and opportunity to join us. In order to have these opportunities we need participation. We know it's impossible to commit at this early date BUT if we had a general jest as to numbers we can start the planning process.

We will need help finding people and we will need people to sign up for committees when the time warrants it. Please pass this information on to others and PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO SEND ME YOUR ADDRESS (BOTH EMAIL AND STREET) AND PHONE NUMBER ASAP) You will save us so much time and trouble trying to find you.

Thank you!
Your NE class of 69 classmates: Martha Baird, Sally Crane and Gloria Vogt

Class of 1989 – 20 Year Reunion will be held September 18-20, 2009.  We plan to have a cocktail hour on Friday (location to be determined), a dinner/dance on Saturday at 2000 Grand (above the Cashew at 20th and Grand) and a family picnic on Sunday (location to be determined).  At this time we need to locate classmates.  Please e-mail your current address, phone number and e-mail address to the e-mail address below.  Also forward any information on any classmate you are still in contact.  Please do not assume we have your current information.  If you or anyone you know has any items or services that can be donated, it would be greatly appreciated.  Some examples would be printing services, DJ, photographer, decorations, etc.  By getting services donated, the cost does not have to be added into the ticket price for the dinner/dance thus keeping costs down.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Northeast All-Years Reunion In Laughlin, NV again, February 27-March 3,2007 at the Riverside Resort

Your Class not having a reunion this year?  The Northeast All-Years Reunion will be just the thing for curing your Reunion Blues!  Bring your whole class (and friends) to the classiest reunion for NE folks.  It's February 25 through March 1, 2007.  So, you need to meet up with Vikings from ALL years graduating classes and feel welcome, whatever your class year.  Check the Info page just to the left (click on NE All-Years Reunion link) for specifics on room and event registration, agenda, how to get there, who's coming this year, etc. WE CORDIALLY INVITE ALL THE NORTHEAST VIKINGS to come and enjoy the company of some of the best people you have had the pleasure of knowing and those who helped shape your futures!  This reunion has been going on since 1997 and is convened in Laughlin, Nevada, at Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort.  It has the largest patio/balcony attached to a Hospitality Room in the area and people from all classes come each year to enjoy the warm weather in late February/early March and have a wonderful time meeting other Vikings & Viqueens of all ages.  Room rates are very reasonable, $27/night (Sunday night through Thursday night), for the dates of the reunion, February 25th through March 1st, 2007 only, checking out by noon Friday, March 2nd, 2007, unless you have made previous arrangements to stay longer.  You can ask the regular prices for other days if you wish to extend your stay in Laughlin before or after the reunion.  The main events are a Welcoming Party that lasts all week, including a light dinner for those arriving on Sunday, continuous beverages and snacks all week, a Continental Breakfast Monday, February 28th in the Hospitality Room's large Patio, a huge Welcoming Breakfast Buffet on Tuesday, February 27th, in the beautiful Starview Ballroom, and the Farewell Dinner & Dance in the Starview Ballroom on Thursday, March 1st, all at the very reasonable price of $75/person (See below) for the five days. Check out the 5 golf courses are available locally; Vegas shows, riverboat rides, water sports, and many other amenities are within walking distance. Last time we chartered 2 jet boats and cruised to Lake Havasu City and back.  We also trekked over to the petroglyphs in Grapevine Canyon, just 12 miles from the hotel so see what the early Nevadans were up to several centuries ago.  Check on the Laughlin links on the web page for what's clicking for this year's reunion.
