NORTHEAST HISTORY CD's
For the past several weeks I have been working on the history of NEHS. The history and accomplishments of our early Classmates are so rich that it will take more than one volume.... I have planned to have it in 4 volumes:

Vol. 1 - 1914-1919
Vol. 2 - 1920-1929
Vol. 3 - 1930-1939
Vol. 4 - 1940-1949

It was during those years that THOU DEAR was at its height and has the most history.

The history is broken down in sections as follows:

1. The early history and building of the high school.

2. The Nor'easter yearbooks and staffs.

3. Faculty and Staff

4. Classes

5. Organizations such as Literary Societies, Clubs, Band and Orchestra, etc.

6. Athletics

7. Military

8. School Life and Activities

9. Jokes, Cartoons and Advertisements.

The history will be mostly original photographs taken from the NOR'EASTERS. I believe this is better since most histories written have a tendancy to boor people with a bunch of facts and figures, plus their own opinions. I prefer to have the Students, Teachers and Northeast people tell their own stories. After all, they're the ones who made the history.

Originally I planned to have it published in book form but due to the high cost of publishing, I have decided to put the NE history volumes on CD's. I have the following NEHS CD's ready for sale:

1) Volume I, 1914-1919

2) Contains all the photo scans I took from the 1914-1919 Nor'easters. If you were wanting to print out certain photos, it would be better to use the originals on this CD.

3) The first 1914 Nor'easter. Every page scanned to CD.

The above CD's are $2.00 each with an additional charge of $2.50 for shipping and protective packaging.
